POST - Accident Investigation (Advanced)

Description:

This class is math intensive and may involve homework.  This class is designed for officers who have taken the Intermediate Accident Investigation Class and would like to increase their accident investigation skills as well as a prep class for Accident Reconstruction.  This class is math intensive and should present a challenge to most students as they learn in-depth concepts in the areas of Kinematics, Momentum and Energy to name a few. 

Students will need:  laptop computer, scientific calculator, pen, mechanical pencil, blank paper, engineer ruler, two colored pencils, graph paper and Northwestern template.

  • Vehicle Dynamics
  • Math Review
  • Kinematics
  • Flips, falls and Vaults
  • Collinear Momentum
  • Angular Momentum
  • Energy

This training is open to all agencies.
